Before you gather around the table for lunch on Thanksgiving Day, bring the family to Austinville United Methodist Church (908 Lamar St SW, Decatur, AL 35601) and deliver meals to families in need. This is a great opportunity to serve others during this holiday season. Arrive at 9 am for a brief prayer service and instructions, and then off you go to a few houses to spread some joy and the love of Jesus.  Anyone that would be willing to make a dessert to help the NCC with this event let me know. You can take your dessert directly to Austinville United Methodist or have it at the church by 4:00 pm, Tuesday, November 21 and Tammy Benton will deliver them on Wednesday. Help is also always needed to deliver meals on Thursday. We are usually finished delivering by around 11:30 am.

Due to the Thanksgiving Holidays, there will be no Wednesday evening activities at the church Wednesday, November 22.

The O.C.C. shoe boxes have been dropped off at Central Park Baptist Church.  If you have a shoe box that you would like to return, Central Park will be accepting shoe boxes for drop off at their church until 10 am on Monday, November 20.
