Stewardship Emphasis Month

November is Stewardship Emphasis Month. Each Sunday during November a member of our Stewardship Committee will speak on Parkview’s current Building Fund giving and also encourage you to participate in a new financial pledge for 2015. Our emphasis will culminate on Sunday night, November 23, at the Churchwide Thanksgiving Meal when all members and regular attenders of Parkview Baptist Church are invited to turn in new pledge cards. If you are unable to attend that night, you can still pledge by filling out a card that will be available to you throughout November. You may either mail or turn those into the church office at any time.

Orphan Sunday

This Sunday, November 2, we join over 500,000 Christians around the world as we celebrate what God is doing for our world’s most needy orphans through His church worldwide. This Sunday, you’ll find an insert in your bulletin with prayers and Bible verses to coincide with those prayers. There are many ways you can change the life of an orphan for today and eternity. You’ll be blessed and inspired.

Sunday afternoon, November 2, the Women’s Ministry along with Hearts of Compassion will host a Worldcrafts party November 2 from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. It will be a come and go event that will allow you to partner with Worldcrafts. Worldcrafts provide sustainable income and offer eternal hope for impoverished people throughout the world.
