We are following federal and state guidelines and keeping our campus closed at this time. We will be monitoring this situation closely and look forward to worshipping together soon.

Due to a lack of available supplies, Morgan County EMA is requesting help with sewing masks. Some health care workers are using these over their N95 protective masks, and some patients are using them for extra protection. Since the fabric stores are closed you’ll probably have to shop at Walmart, if you sew a lot you may have supplies stashed away at home, or you may be able to order offline.
This is a link to the suggested pattern:
We are aware some supplies for sewing the masks may be difficult to find as well. If you have trouble finding elastic, large hair ties have been suggested as an alternative. The body of the mask should be cotton. This is a link for sterilizing masks using an Instapot. This is not a requirement, it’s included as a FYI in case you are interested.… Drop off points: Volunteer Center of Morgan County at 811 2nd Av SE, Decatur on Monday and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. United Way of Morgan County at 115 1st Ave NE, Decatur on Tuesday and Thursday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Thank you so much for supporting your hospitals and health care workers!!

Minister to Preschool and Children, Ashley Holmes

Providing an effective children’s ministry involved a critical need for volunteers from within the church. If you are interested in serving in ANY facet of ParkviewKids, please do not hesitate to let Miss Ashley know! We are always looking for volunteers to help love on our babies and kiddos!

ParkviewKids: Security

Here at ParkviewKids, we value the safety and respect of our children as well as our parents. We use a system called KidCheck to check children in and out of our facilities in order to ensure they are picked up by the right people. If you do not have a KidCheck account, please take the time to create one and add your child online at If you have used KidCheck at a previous church or facility, your account should still be accessible from our computers. This check-in process also allows us to document allergies, attendance, and other special needs that may arise.
